Prayer for Sudan

	Dear Father of Love, Justice, Peace and Mercy, You know that we are part of others and what we do affects others. There is a great deal of uncertainty in the world today, especially the uncertainty facing our sisters and brothers in Sudan. Our sisters and brothers in Sudan have spent so many years living with wars, deaths, violence, displacement and the uncertainty of what may happen tomorrow. We often wonder what we can do to help. Father, we know that you and your unconditional love for everything you have created is the only certain thing. That is why we come to you in prayer to ask that you guide and be with the people of Sudan and the government of Sudan as they consider the referendum on self – determination and independence in the southern region of Sudan and that they come together in peace and make wise and just decisions. Give them hope for the future. We pray this because we know that through and with you all things are possible. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

	Eternal God, O King of Peace, we humbly pray that you lead our brothers and sisters in the Sudan through the rough places and inspire them with the love and power that you alone can provide. Jesus, Savior, let your presence be their light and guide. Grant them wisdom, courage and strength; and cleanse their hearts of pride and greed so that they will be led to the place of peace. Fill your children with patience and zeal to face life’s challenges and give them thy sustaining grace that they may endure and dwell secure as friends, not foes. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

PAZ EN EL SUFRIMIENTO
SAN JUAN 16: 33 Les digo todo esto para que encuentren paz en su unión conmigo. En el mundo, ustedes habrán de sufrir; pero tengan valor: yo he vencido el mundo. Hoy en día hay muchas personas que les cuesta entender que ese tiempo de guerra del A.T. ya paso y que a pesar de la guerra que libro el pueblo de Israel contra los pueblos paganos Dios siempre pedía que hubiera justicia y paz entre su pueblo tanto para ellos internamente como para los demás a pesar de que estaban en guerra. Es difícil entender y ver el amor de Dios manifestado en medio de la guerra así como es difícil tener paz en el sufrimiento. Porque nuestros ojos se centran solo en lo malo, lo negativo por eso no entendemos que nuestra lucha no es contra nosotros mismos que Dios sigue pidiendo que haya justicia y paz entre nosotros y Dios quiere que el reino establecido por su hijo Jesucristo se un reino de justicia, paz y gozo que tanto en el A.T. como en el N.T. Dios sigue pidiendo que cuidemos de los pobres, los huérfanos, las viudas y los extranjeros. Así como los profetas levantaron la voz para defenderlos, nosotros como cristianos y cristianas también debemos hacerlo, pues vivimos en una sociedad corrupta he injusta y yo diría que una sociedad egoísta y egocéntrica que no teme a Dios ni a los hombres. Nuestro deber es orar y tener compasión así como lo hizo Jesús. Tenemos que aprender a compartir la bendición de Dios con otras personas sin importar raza, color, cultura. Tenemos que aprender a dar, porque dando es como recibimos esto fue lo que enseño Jesús así como enseño también a amar y a perdonar. Dios es un Dios de amor y paz aprendamos a esperar en él y el dará el justo castigo a los opresores, injustos, corruptos, egoístas etc. No permitamos que las injusticias de este mundo nos separen de Dios. Oremos por la justicia, la paz y el gozo.

Oremos para que la voluntad de Dios se cumpla en nuestras vidas.
Oremos para que siempre haya una mano bandazo que se extienda al necesitado, al pobre, a la viuda, al huérfano, al extranjero, al necesitado, al desempleado, a las o los que sufren violencia.
Sobre todo oremos para que los opresores, corruptos, injustos, violentos, egoístas, etc. se arrepientan y reciban a Jesucristo como Señor y Salvador de sus vidas y el amor de Dios prevalezca siempre.

ORACION POR LA PAZ
Señor, Rey de Paz, a ti levantamos nuestras manos en oración, esperando que en tu infinito amor y misericordia nos escuches y respondas. Gracias por la vida que nos has dado y por tu llamado a servirte y a servir. Ayúdanos a entender que tu reino es un reino de justicia, paz y gozo y que eso es lo que debemos hacer y transmitir a los y las demás, para que se cumpla tu voluntad en nuestras vidas. Capacítanos en todo lo bueno, lo puro, lo perfecto para que siempre tengamos la paz que tu hijo nos dejo. Una paz que sobre pasa todo entendimiento humano. AMEN
